So as many of you know, Rao is in India right now working on new product.  He’s come up with some really cool ideas and found some interesting new materials for us to work with.  (Not bad for a recovering IT manager!!) I covered some of the new eco-friendly materials we are looking to use in previous posts, but wanted to share this latest item with you.

Common Soles Jute Sole Material

This picture is of a new rubber sole material that Rao had made for us. It’s cool for a few reason: 1) It’s got natural jute wove into it  2) It’s got our logo stamped in which not only looks cool (at least to us) but adds an incredible amount of traction on various surfaces  3) It’s locally made to the factory we have been partnering with in Vijayawada so we don’t need to ship it half-way across the world just to use it!

From the Common Soles R&D lab,
-Dave

Thanks RJ! We're excited about these new soles as well. Planning to begin integrating them into the product line this spring.
